Reminds me of The Flight of the Phoenix, with more excitement and a sci-fi twist. Vin Diesel definitely makes this movie, but Radha Mitchell is pretty good as well. The sequel The Chronicles of Riddick is more exciting, but this film doesn't disappoint either.

A competent sequel to Pitch Black, this movie raises the energy level from the last film. They threw in a lot of Necromonger stuff and that half of the movie was average at best. The Riddick scenes were excellent though, and the cast is great.

The plot is comical at best, but Vin Diesel is amusing as always. This had action, but not as much as usual for his movies. Overall, a time-passer but Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick are far better films.

Clearly a made for TV movie, though a few of Shiri Appleby's scenes are entertaining. The CGI is terrible, and the scenes done with only CGI look worse than a computer game. Thankfully, the plot isn't horrible, an odd retelling of the Lilith story.

Looking a bit dated now, but still an imaginative kids story. I suspect the book The Neverending Story is much more colorful and creative though. The movie is a bit of a trippy Alice in Wonderland mixed with an odd philosophical ending

Foreign with subtitles. Penelope Cruz does a brilliant job with her role in this film - and the rest of the cast is decent too. It has a very laid-back pace that seems slightly too slow at times, but overall it's an amusing movie.

Robyn Ledoux and Nic Rhind - the main characters - are pretty good, but the rest of the cast is a lesson in overacting. The plot is pretty standard horror/sci-fi stuff - watchable but not great in any way.

This was difficult to watch because the dialog was terrible. It felt like the director relied heavily on the actors to improvise the script - as one of the characters in the movie actually mentions.

When I saw this I thought it would end up being something like Factory Girl - but even though the acting was fine this movie lacked any direction, and wasn't compelling. It felt like the drivel of rich people who have no real taste in art

This movie is one of my guilty pleasures - it isn't great and in many ways it's completely ludicrous, yet I enjoy it every time I watch it.

The cast is excellent, and the story is original - well suited to the time it was made, when CGI was just coming into its own. The plot is an interesting commentary on acting, fame, expectations and perceptions.

The title Feast of Sex would have been more appropriate. Morgan Freeman was great but I felt like the beginning was spastic, jumping between relationships. Radha Mitchell and Greg Kinnear were good, the film should have just been about them.

Mentioned in Notting Hill, Rita Hayworth is great in this classic as the sassy self-destructive seductress. The plot is on par with other classics like Roman Holiday, though there was one rather long singing interlude.

Most of this film is standard action movie fare, but the comic interludes by Salma Hayek and a few other characters are great. Cindy Crawford is average at best, banking on her looks to carry the role. (Plus her random extraneous sex scene)

Haven't seen acting this bad in quite a while - like high school drama class. A pity since the plot is kind of neat, except for the Lost style smoke clouds which were ludicrous. Could have been like Resident Evil if this had been done right.
