Compared to Jurassic Park this movie is laughable - if this had been the first there never would have been a sequel. Julianne Moore manages to make her character as obnoxious as possible, and the plot - while creative - has tons of holes.

Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum are entertaining in this cool film. The kids are rather annoying in parts and a few parts are over-dramatic, but it's a good adventure film - the CGI and effects are pretty good for a 15+ year old movie.

Kaley Cuoco was perfect for this quirky role, but the script wasn't very good. The FBI and romance sections should have been mostly cut, and the fashion show scene was a little long. Aside from those flaws it's actually a fairly amusing plot/film.

The entire cast is pretty good, but Rachel Weisz does a spectacular job as the clumsy librarian. Other than that this is a fairly standard save the world adventure movie. Definitely the best in the series though.

This prequel to The Mummy Returns is nearly as good, though The Rock manages to make the whole adventure somewhat comical with his corny acting. Luckily the rest of the cast is fairly good, and the plot is decent.

This sequel to The Scorpion King and The Mummy is entertaining on its own, though they broke the continuity by making Rachel Weisz a reincarnated Nefertiti. Ignoring this flaw the cast is reasonably good and it lives up to the original.

Supposedly a prequel, but bearing no resemblance in cast or acting quality to The Mummy or The Scorpion King - this rivals some of the worst movies I've seen. Many of the actors sound like they're reading, and the script is drivel.

The Mummy series just went full-tilt ludicrous in this movie, combining schlocky acting with a B movie plot. Maria Bello can't hold a candle to Rachel Weisz in this role - this is a movie that should never have been made.

Not as good as Iron Man or The Dark Knight, but still fairly well done for a video game movie. Gemma Arterton fluctuates between an excellent performance and seeming a bit shallow, and the ending was obvious in the first 30 min

Rupert Everett was more tolerable in this one, though the story was better in St. Trinian's. Still the same wacky school, girls, and antics though - so the movie is a far-fetched yet amusing joyride.

Gritty and historical, lacking the magic of the children's fairy tale. Clearly a setup for a sequel, taking nearly the full 2 hours explain how Robin became an outlaw. While the cast was great the film felt too long for the content.

Kristen Bell did a pretty good job with this role - the beginning was hilarious, but it did get weak in the middle. The men chasing her tended to be more silly than funny, and the ending was obvious. Better than many recent comedies, but not great.

Excellent performances by Colin Farrell and the main characters. A sedate but enjoyable Irish tale about a woman from the sea, slightly marred by the ominous subplot but rescued by the mythology woven throughout. Felt vaguely similar to Titanic

A slightly slow heist film with a good cast and acting. Radha Mitchell was great but her parts seemed slightly out of place at times. Of course Morgan Freeman and Antonio Banderas are always fun to watch. Worth a look, but not as good as The Italian Job

Parts are corny and juvenile, but it's still somewhat amusing. It definitely gets better as it goes along. The best part are the four models - they balance out all the standard romantic comedy aspects nicely.
