A slightly slow heist film with a good cast and acting. Radha Mitchell was great but her parts seemed slightly out of place at times. Of course Morgan Freeman and Antonio Banderas are always fun to watch. Worth a look, but not as good as The Italian Job

A showcase of Kevin Spacey's and Jeff Bridges' talents in some intriguing characters. Great sort of mystery/scifi film that leaves you wondering, and almost wishing. Complimented very nicely by Edward Shearmur's best musical score.

Reminds me of The Flight of the Phoenix, with more excitement and a sci-fi twist. Vin Diesel definitely makes this movie, but Radha Mitchell is pretty good as well. The sequel The Chronicles of Riddick is more exciting, but this film doesn't disappoint either.

This film highlights the real life aspects, emotions, and traumas of an abduction story rather than the fantasy. Though actual sci-fi sequences are sparse, they are convincing especially if you remember the movie is entirely based on true accounts.

Intriguing account with a front-row-seat look into modern Middle Eastern terrorism. Told by Palestinian-born turncoat Mosab Yousef, son of one of the founders of Hamas. Sickened by the savagery of the movement, he ultimately rejects Islam itself.

For any sci-fi/alien fan, this mini-series is very satisfying, despite dated fx. Full of conspiracies and outlining the story through a few generations of characters you get to know intimately. Next time this replays on SyFy, DVR all 10 chapters!

Looking a bit dated now, but still an imaginative kids story. I suspect the book The Neverending Story is much more colorful and creative though. The movie is a bit of a trippy Alice in Wonderland mixed with an odd philosophical ending

A perfectly entertaining movie that offers flawless action, comedy and a little bit of sex. The movie's surprisingly interesting characters and their stories separate it from the mindset you walk into it with, and keeps you rooting for the good guys.

Foreign with subtitles. Penelope Cruz does a brilliant job with her role in this film - and the rest of the cast is decent too. It has a very laid-back pace that seems slightly too slow at times, but overall it's an amusing movie.

On one hand I want to trash Bayonetta for being so Japanese but that aspect is exactly what kept me playing. The insane story mixed with tried and true gameplay mechanics works quite well but this game will not be for everyone, not by a long shot.

Robyn Ledoux and Nic Rhind - the main characters - are pretty good, but the rest of the cast is a lesson in overacting. The plot is pretty standard horror/sci-fi stuff - watchable but not great in any way.

Don Bluth's animated classic about a Russian mouse that has lost his family on his way to America, still holds up to this day. The animation is some of the best of its era, the music (by James Horner) is top notch and the story is timeless.

When I saw this I thought it would end up being something like Factory Girl - but even though the acting was fine this movie lacked any direction, and wasn't compelling. It felt like the drivel of rich people who have no real taste in art

There is nothing to like here. The performances are awful, the special effects are awful and it is neither scary nor funny. You can do far better, both for real horror and B grade films, than what this adaptation offers.

This movie is one of my guilty pleasures - it isn't great and in many ways it's completely ludicrous, yet I enjoy it every time I watch it.
