A quiet, minimal plot with a good cast. This medieval drama has a reasonable dose of action - but not flashy Hollywood battles.

This was actually on par with Scream 2 until the last 10 minutes - when the 'alternate ending' took the plot completely off the rails. The cast was pretty good, but Emma Roberts sounds really stilted when she tries to deliver serious dialogue.

Inception Scream - adding a whole new cast of wacky characters in addition to the old ones. By this point the series is getting a bit silly - spoofing itself.

Not quite as funny as the original Scream, but still solid with some decent action.

Self-referential with a great sense of humor. A decent slasher comedy that doesn't take itself too seriously.

A cringe-worthy comedy that manages to be less funny than the movie trailer. Cameron Diaz would have been perfect in a comedy about an unrepentant bad teacher - unfortunately this blase script was more about her playing a incompetent gold digger.

This two part mini-drama has a good story based on a book - The Point of Rescue. A few twists and turns, and the cast has a couple well known actors but is filmed in the drab, overcast British fashion.

Kirsten Dunst is incredibly annoying yet somehow perfect for this role. The parts starring Susan Sarandon and Judy Greer are hilarious, while the rest of the film is quietly average, yet not bad in any particular way.

Kristen Wiig can be funny, but almost the entire movie was focused on her, so it wasn't as funny as it could have been. Rose Byrne did a decent job, and Melissa McCarthy had a few laughs - but some scenes like the wedding speech just went on too long

Good cast and funny in parts, but not as consistently amusing as other dysfunctional family comedies like Eulogy. The ending was fine, but boring.

This horror movie twists lovable children into psychotic murderers in an entertaining way. The set-up is great too - could have been for any genre. The only flaw is not fully explaining the nature of the epidemic, but in a horror movie I excuse that

Replacing Megan Fox with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is one of the best things Michael Bay has done for this series. Far better than either of the previous movies, this one manages to have a good flow throughout, and solid cast/acting.

A reasonably good film with a documentary feel. Lacking a bit in any sort of emotion, but that goes along with the subject matter fairly well.

This is to law shows what White Collar is to cop shows. A nice change of pace from the normal cliche genres. The cast is good and unique, yet manages to be funny. The plot revolves more around characters than legal battles

A reasonably entertaining medical drama - the military aspect rescues it from being another drab genre clone. The cast is pretty good, and the stories are okay. Unfortunately they start adding manufactured angst and turmoil in the middle of season 1
