Just as bad as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I, for different reasons. It started out nicely with battle sequences and special effects, but the middle was mostly filler. The ending was anticlimactic, though the epilogue was okay. This shouldn't have been two parts.

Gone are the intelligent characters and suspense - this attempt to transition into an action sci-fi is a miserable failure. It's full of face-palm moments and has none of the atmosphere that made the original Screamers interesting.

A reasonably good sci-fi suspense - not a lot of action but good atmosphere and story much like the original Alien. Some bad CGI here and there, but expected for a movie this age.

Kunis and Timberlake both have great humor that makes the beginning a riot. The middle/end stumble, trying to shoehorn plot and romantic elements but recover slightly by mocking normal romcoms. Still far better than Love and Other Drugs or No Strings Attached

The opening is good, but after that it hits a lull and continues to be incredibly slow for the rest of the film, with a few action sequences. The many scenes intended to flesh out the characters just end up being bland filler.

Lake Bell is really good in this movie, and the first half is definitely a solid comedy. Unfortunately it does the usual transition into a feel-good film - so the second half isn't bad but not nearly as entertaining.

Tom Hanks is annoyingly cheerful at the start, but after that he's okay. Julia Roberts is good for the first half of the film - but Gugu Mbatha-Raw is the comic heart of the movie. The middle falls apart a bit, but it mostly recovers by the end.

Nicolas Cage has some good lines in this film, but it also has unnecessary action and a villain who is both lazy and morally conflicted. Helen Mirren was an amusing addition to the cast.

Excellent pacing with a fun adventure. Diane Kruger provides good energy for the first half of the film, though after that she's just a tag-along character - the chemistry between her and Nicolas Cage doesn't really work unless they're fighting.

The ending was pretty good, but the rest of the film would have been a disaster without Hayley Atwell. She and Stanley Tucci gave a bit of humanity to a story that would have otherwise been a bunch of dry heroic bravado.

A few violent scenes and lots of dead bodies around, but for the most part this is a slow suspense film that doesn't really deliver in the end.

Again an exceptionally silly plot premise, but still slightly better than Casino Royale - Olga Kurylenko was a nice addition to the cast.

Daniel Craig is on par with Dalton, but not nearly as good as Connery, Moore, or Brosnan. A decent movie but it doesn't feel like a Bond film with an angsty alcoholic-fueled performance and poker instead of baccarat

John Cleese is far too bumbling to be a good Q, and the overarching plot seems stolen from Diamonds Are Forever. It is action packed and reasonably interesting - though the pacing seems a bit slow overall.

The open is an inexcusably long boat chase after a bland Maria Cucinotta. Terrible X-Ray glasses effect and Denise Richards delivered a Starship Troopers quality performance - though Sophie Marceau somewhat redeemed the film with her excellent acting
