Really ambitious, but ended up not really impressing me. :-\ Obviously very thoroughly researched, which I appreciated, but it wasn't brought together by much of a story.

A solid continuation of the story in Red Mars. Especially loved the new characters Art and Nirgal, the constitution-writing scene, and the far-reaching implications of Ann and Sax's odd and changing relationship.

A wonderful mix of hard sci-fi and character-driven story. Especially loved the way each characters' own values tinted their respective narrations. Maybe just a bit too long on the landscape descriptions.

An adventure game that demonstrates both the best and worst parts of the genre. Loved the story, humor, and music. Disliked the arbitrary puzzles and interface hassles (though mouse-less control is nice). Exceptionally good voice acting.

Continuously funny throughout; knows its source material well, and pokes fun at it lovingly but thoroughly. Everybody's great, but Frost especially drives the movie home.

Loved the customization of robots, and the sense of weight and realism it added to the actual combat. Unfortunately, the missions themselves were very dull, and the in-combat UI unresponsive.

Very good work by the whole cast, especially Kevin Spacey. Tension nicely high throughout. Good Fight-Club-style ending makes rewatching very interesting.

Shifts rapidly between macabre and humorous, but does it artfully, in a way that enhances both. It's also the existentialistiest movie I've ever seen.

Loved the faster and more aggressive pace of this album compared to Sia's others; somewhat annoyed by the weird interstitial theme that forces me to keep my finger on the Next Track button.
